In 2019, the Awasuka Program has installed more than 300 smokeless kitchens in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality. But in the municipality there are about 4800 households and more than 90% still use firewood as the main cooking fuel.
In 2020 we intend to build at least 500 more chimneys and teach the construction technique to many more local people, so that they are sustainable in the future.
